Where is the traditional Control Panel Window 10

Q :
Yesterday when I installed the Developer .iso I stepped on the traditional Control Panel ( like in 7 and Vista). Now I cannot find it any more. Please remind me where it is hiding.

A:
Go to the desktop view and it will be on the desktop pop up menu on the right.

I get to it by Windows Key & R for the run box then use control.exe

Save yourself the revolting stuff - rename shsxs.dll. It's in windows\system32

log off and on or restart.

BLISS.

We can only hope that's one tweak that will be a default option for desktop use.

Renaming shsxs.dll to old or something lets you get rid of the metro ui but it also disables the new task manager (also the old task manager takes forever to show up). It also slows desktop composition at start and should your wifi setup not be configured yet, it disables the wifi card.

Another option, is if you go to Control Panel in Metro, at the bottom is an option called "More Settings" if you click that it loads the classic 7 Control Panel
